How to add a Google Titan Security Key
to G-mail, or Mobile phone
Used for 2 Factor Authentication
Passkeys are used on these Websites and Apps
Google – Microsoft – Adobe – E-bay – Kayak – DocuSign
- Step one
- Log into your Gmail account
- Click on your picture or icon in the upper right corner
- Click on Manage Your Google Account
- On the left side click Security
- Select Passkeys and security keys
- Click Create a passkey which is also how to select a security key
- Click select – Use another Device
- Use an external Security Key
- You will then be asked to insert your Titan Security Key.
- Please insert it into a direct USB port on your computer and not an add-on USB external port which is an add-on device.
- Once the key is inserted you will be asked to touch the icon on one side of the key, Older versions
- Once you touch the key you’re done.
- Your Email is now paired with your key. You must do this for all other emails you have or other devices.
